Dr. Aihara has been part of our community here in Lee County since 2003. As a trauma surgeon, she was heavily involved in the care of the severely injured. She was recognized as the “Physician of the Month” in October, 2009 by Lee Memorial Health System for going the extra mile in the care of her patients. Now, as a woman, a surgeon and a member of this community, Dr. Aihara has decided to concentrate her efforts into creating a breast health center that is dedicated to all breast health issues. Regional Breast Care was developed with the hope that the women of this community and surrounding regions will have access to a center that provides world class, comprehensive care using a multidisciplinary approach including second opinion opportunities from our affiliated academic institutions without having to leave home. To provide the best care possible in an individualized manner- this is our goal at Regional Breast Care.
